12 Days of Christmas: Milspouse Style

Here’s a little milspouse ditty to sing your way through present-wrapping fundraisers, tree decorating, or when you need a humorous perspective about our unique and sometimes chaotic lifestyle:

On the first day of Christmas, my soldier gave to me…

A home in a foreign country.

On the second day of Christmas, my soldier gave to me…

Two housing choices

On the third day of Christmas, my soldier gave to me…

Three new friends,

And a home in a foreign country.

On the fourth day of Christmas, my soldier gave to me…

Four TRICARE options,

Three new friends,

Two housing choices,

On the fifth day of Christmas, my soldier gave to me…

Five Golden Knights,
