Looking for Veterans Day deals? We’ve got ’em!

It always feels nice to be celebrated, so if you’re looking for a little appreciation for your service member this Veterans Day, take advantage of some discounts at restaurants and in stores.

We, and some of our pals, have done the hard work of hunting them down so you don’t have to! Be sure to bring your military ID to partake in the discount. Be advised that some of the deals are for service members only, so ask if you aren’t sure!

Stores

Target: Veterans can receive 10 percent off both in-store and online by applying for a coupon from now until Nov. 12. You can fill out your application and check the list of exclusions here. Our friends over at SpouseBUZZ recommend using the service member’s information as the application requests documents that may not have the spouse’s name on them. Some examples of acceptable documents include: DD214, Veterans Affairs Card, awards, certificates, a letter or document from the Department of Veterans Affairs, a certificate of retirement, current orders, an official letter from a commanding officer, or an LES.

AAFES: Your local Army and Air Force Exchange Service will of course be in on the Veterans Day savings, saluting the military community by offering a number of discounts both in-store and online until Nov. 15:

  • Up to 33 percent off Columbia outerwear vests
  • $200 off Apple MacBook Pro and discounts on other Apple products
